A LEGAL DISCLAIMER

 Welcome to the official website for Captains of Industry International Weekend and Gala (“Event”, “we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website [www.captainsofindustry.com] (“Site”), your purchase of tickets, and your participation in all Event activities in Atlanta, Georgia. By accessing or using the Site, purchasing a ticket, or attending the Event, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site and do not attend the Event.

TERMS & CONDITIONS -CAPATAINS OF INDUSTRY WEEKEND

1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 21 years of age to attend the Gala receptions. For daytime panels and networking sessions, attendees under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

  • By registering or purchasing a ticket, you represent and warrant that you meet the applicable age requirement.

2. Ticket Purchase & Refunds

  • Ticket Types: Weekend Pass, Gala-Only, Single-Day, Virtual Access.

  • Sales Final: All ticket purchases are final and non-refundable, except in the case of Event cancellation (see Section 3).

  • Name Changes: You may request a name change on your ticket up to 7 days before the Event, subject to a $25 administrative fee.

  • Resale: Tickets are non-transferable and may not be resold without our express written permission. Unauthorized resale may result in ticket invalidation without refund.

3. Event Changes or Cancellation

  • We reserve the right to modify the Event schedule, speakers, venues, or dates due to circumstances beyond our control (force majeure, speaker cancellation, public health advisories, etc.).

  • In the event of a full cancellation, ticket holders will be notified via the email on file and offered a full refund within 30 days. Partial cancellations (e.g., single session or Gala only) may receive pro-rata refunds at our discretion.

4. Code of Conduct

  • All attendees must conduct themselves professionally and respectfully. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

  • We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee for violations of this Code of Conduct, without refund.

5. Intellectual Property

  • All content on the Site and at the Event—presentations, logos, videos, printed materials—is owned by or licensed to the Event organizers and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

6. Photography & Recordings

  • By entering any Event space, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded. We may use such media for promotional, marketing, or archival purposes without compensation.

  • If you do not wish to be recorded, please notify Event staff upon arrival.

7. Liability Waiver

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither Captains of Industry International Weekend nor its officers, employees, agents, or volunteers shall be liable for personal injury, property damage, or any other loss arising from your attendance, including travel to and from Atlanta.

  • You assume full responsibility for your participation and any associated risks.

8. Privacy & Data Protection

  • Our [Privacy Policy] describes how we collect, use, store, and share your personal information. By registering or using the Site, you consent to our privacy practices.

  • We will never sell your personal data; we may share name/contact information with our speakers and sponsors for Event-related communications only, unless you opt out.

9. Third-Party Services & Sponsors

  • We may integrate or link to third-party websites and services (hotel booking, ticketing platforms, sponsor pages). We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

  • Sponsors’ logos and materials are used with permission; inquiries about sponsor use should be directed to us.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia (USA), without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

  • Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Atlanta, Georgia, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Each party bears its own costs.

11. Changes to Terms

  • We may update these Terms at any time. Revised Terms will be posted on the Site with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Site or attendance constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
